i was wondering about the signal if it could be made some other way besides pulling it from the ic or a way to confirm it is getting the corect signal from the ic...

if you have a good scanner and software...

to uncle cuddles: what is the manufacture date on the bottom of your saturn as well as the model number from the back of the unit.. if you dont mind..

I have been doing the swap trick.. but would like to just pop my cd in and go... not bend over the machine just to play a game a few min and go on to something else... but I do what I have to do... I spent the money on the mod board because of the fact it was to work on all 21-pin saturns... so...

ill wait to buy to see if 3rdman is successful...

i installed the mod board both ways and the cable both ways no luck...I am gonna go looking for another saturn maybe... unless someone can us figure it out....

btw my model # is mk-80000a and it was manufactured june 1996

when you say it is instelled back to front do you meen the unit is installed like the guide says or opposite?

is the cable conector on the mod board facing the lense or the outside of the saturn?

Im holding my breath... hope that it comes thru for us 64 pin heads.....

I am having the same troubble.. able to play audio cds and listen to the audio tracs of the game discs but unable to boot up a game untill i remove the mod board... any one get thist tor work with the 64 pin chips... any help would be great...
