if anyone out there has a PAL saturn that has *NOT* had the 60hz mod done to it, please show me a picture of your JP1 and JP2 on the bottom of the mainboard. i most prefer an oval button system with 21 pins.

i'm hunting down some sega saturn parts. I'd like to get some stock of 32 Leg CD-ROM drives, any US systems made in April 1996, power supplies from all systems, controller port boards, and shells.
i'm *ESPECIALLY* interested in Model 1 (grey and blue, oval buttons) Japanese saturn...

Okay, so i've done 50/60s forever on Round button saturns...they are really easy.
i got a problem though....the instructions on how to do a 50/60hz mod can not apply to the Model 1 April 1996 system.

i was region switching one of my saturn systems tonight. i tested the connections with my multimeter, and while doing so accidently touched 9v to 5v ("hot" pin on the multimeter slipped, touching the 2 pins at the same time)

okay so i was modifying and testing out components and systems tonight, and managed to confirm a new way of doing a region switch. pretty productive.
also took a look at my mod boards and saw why the mod is called A+B....duh, how could i be so stupid???
