Lunar SSS & SSSC MPEG Releases

Thanks for the detailed answer! So if I understand correctly, while japanese movies are easy to keep, for in game dialogs keeping the japanese audio with English text is a lot more tricky? The audio driver is what keeps the text in sync with the audio right? And I guess there is no way to reuse...

Lunar SSS & SSSC MPEG Releases

Probably a silly question, but how much work would it be to have a basic working subtitled SSSC, with original non edited videos? (videos with japanese voices and no subs) I know it's a weird request, but while I good at listening japanese, I'm not so good at reading, so a simple sub version...

Lunar SSS & SSSC MPEG Releases

Ah sorry, my mistake, I was looking only at the SSSC version. And I guess it's a lot more complicated to reinject only the English text (I don't mind about cinematic subs) in the SSSC version right?

Lunar SSS & SSSC MPEG Releases

Hey guys, I just wanted to know if there was any news about the subtitled version of the SSSC game? I'd honestly be very happy even with only text and dialogs in english and Japanese cutscenes, as I understand spoken japanese but my reading is... well let's say I lack of practice haha

Lunar SSS & SSSC MPEG Releases

Me too! They made an awesome job with those patches, and the English dub is a good one. But for a non native English speaker like me, I prefer the Japanese voice far more. So I can't wait to test out the sub versions, especially the mpeg one! Is there a donation system to support the devs?

Lunar SSS & SSSC MPEG Releases

Oh my bad, I didn't know there were 2 versions! Wow those voices are indeed miles better than Working Designs ones, that's great :D I can't say I recognize those voices tho, since I'm not a native English speaker and I watched Code Geass and Evangelion in Japanese.

Lunar SSS & SSSC MPEG Releases

This is an awesome release, but is there a way to keep the Japanese voices and get only subs? I know it's a matter of taste, but I find the English voices atrocious, even for that time period :biglaugh: Edit: Ah never mind, I just saw a subs version was on the todo list. Well I guess I will...

Possible permanent (?) fix for loosy cartridges detection

That's exactly why I mentioned that this trick might not work for you depending of the state of your cartridge port. If the original cartridge aren't working properly, you port has a different problem than the one I explained here. And this trick will obviously not work for you. On my side, it...

Possible permanent (?) fix for loosy cartridges detection

Hey guys, Maybe it's old news for many of you, but since I didn't find any post talking about it, I decided to share the piece of info here; Like most people I got some detection issues for anything else than official save/ram cartridges with the Sega Saturn port. So I looked into it and found...

Magic Knight Rayearth UJ Final Version [Region Free]

As much as I would like a full undub version of Rayearth, there is something very wrong with this undub; This game is one of the few games of this era to feature full lipsync, meaning the lips of each characters are in sync with the audio. And Working Designs did a great job, because they fully...

    Translating Grandia

I basically used your patch for the disc 1, checked the crc checksum (it matches), converted the cue/iso/wav files to cue/bin with CD Mage, then copied the files on folder on the sd card as usual. I tried converting it with anyburn as well, no luck, still gets stuck at loading screen. The...

    Translating Grandia

How did you manage to make it work? Mine gets stuck on the loading screen... did you convert the iso+wav files into something else? I tried converting it, checked the crc, redid the patch from a clean image, nothing works :afraid: The clean image ripped from my original boots without...

    Pseudo Saturn Kai official thread

You mean the bug that was preventing from patching the cue file from another folder? That's great :D Haha that's exactly what happened to me, I got the grey model for 300yen in the "Junk" part of the Hardoff close to my place (shimokita) :p Sounds like a really cool feature, it will obviously...
