There's no reason to doubt the accuracy of the entire translation effort because of an obvious joke or two.

That seems like the tool to try for sure, thanks for bringing it to my attention.

One big piece that you're missing is extracting the bin/cue or iso disc image using something like CD Mage. I prefer using the SSP for Saturn Discs myself. But, the only way to find the files you need is to get inside the image itself.

I found the PCM audio in the SD folder on disc. You would import it into audacity as raw audio data with these settings: I'm not sure how you would go about exporting as .PCM again. It should be lossless audio but saving as .wav and renaming it to .pcm is totally different in hex.

I got a decent comparison using an emulator. Others have a better eye for video but to me it's close with the edge going to the original. The aspect seems slightly different, too
