Dark Savior

So I was looking through some saturn stuff at a local game shop and I found a copy of Dark Savior. When I saw the screen shots on the back of the case, I immediately recognised it as having been made by Climax, the same people who did Landstalker for genesis and Alundra for psx, so I just had to buy it. Aside from being a 3D game, the graphics and controls are almost exactly the same style as Landstalker so I thought it'd be pretty much the same type of hack & slash combat. Then, i got to the first enemy and the game shifted into this 3 round "fight game" battle mode. Normally I don't like fighting games, but I do like the other games that Climax made, so I decided to stick it out with this one.

Anyway, here's my problem- i'm at the second fight and suddenly the word "capture" appears over the enemy. Since the game didn't have the manual with it, I have no idea what I'm supposed to do to achieve this "capture" Has anyone here played this game and know how to do this?

First off Alundra wasn't made by Climax (but by a programmer that left Climax...) They did do Time Stalkers (known as Climax Stalker in Japan).

As for the control... it has been a while since I played the game but I remember the control being ABC at the same time... I could be wrong. But I believe that to be it.

Hey thanks! are there any other special moves?

I was looking around for some info on Climax, and ended up on the offical jp webpage. I can't read japanese at all, but it looks like they're porting Landstalker to the psp:

Yes, it is an old news.

Gametrailers should have a video or maybe 1-up.

Landstalker is a special game, the storyline change if you act faster during the game.

I'll scan some other pages, jus wait a couple of minutes ;)
