Getting NES games to work

What is you're secret to getting these games to work? I've tried everything from blowing and using alcohol but nothing seems to be working. But is there something I'm not trying? And what about getting the NES itself to work better?

you can buy a new 72 pin connector for the system then use a q-tip and alcohal on the games works everytime the connectors u can get on ebay shiped for like 8-10 bucks when i get broken nes systems in my store i always fix em up people love em
