Strange Accesories

Nintendo's first system was used much like a widescale peice of electrical equipment for seeing what would sell and what would not after the gaming crash of 1984. What accesories can you come up with that came out for the NES, which today seam strange or are unheard of in todays consoles? The first that comes to mind for me is the powerglove:

R.O.B.

Nintendo were smart to so quickly abandon it. I had one, it was terrible. :) First, it was really slow, so it seemed to take forever in Gyromite for ROB to open up the 'tubes' so I could move on. And that was only when the thing actually worked.

I remember those two products. I've seen commercials of them when I was young.

BTW, that little red X. Just a thought. ;)

I've always wanted a power glove, and I've never found one except one which i purchased at a yardsale, which doesn't even have a NES plug, but yet another that looks like a sega genesis plug... Does anyone know what this power glove was used for? it doesn't really matter i don't have the TV mounts that go with it anyway..

in theory you can play any game with the power glove as a controller, but it dont work too well. also of intrest is that there was another type of motion sensor that looked kina like laptop, dont remember the name though
