What are your favorites?
I'd like to compile a list of all the best games for all the Nintendo systems.
So check the other sections of the board for similar posts.

Here's my list to start:
Super Mario Bros
Super Mario Bros 2
Super Mario Bros 3
Duck Hunt
Metroid
Zelda
Zelda 2
Punch Out
River City Ransom
Pro Wrestling

MMMmmmmm Nes games :) Ok, here's my favs:

Megaman 1-3 (and to a lesser degree 4-6)
Super Mario 1-3 (played 3 a few weeks ago and was the first time I passed it without skipping any levels :medieval:)
Super Spy Hunter
Tetris
Dr. Mario
Double Dragon 1-3
Sky Shark (music rocks)
Snake Rattle & Roll

The Jetsons
Blaster Master (favorite nes game of all time)

Rad Racer
Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles 1 & 2 (and to a lesser degree, 3)
Twin Cobra

i liked it, but it was so freakin hard. I also kinda liked 3 more than 2. And Chip N Dale's Rescue Rangers was a killer game too. I remember one day my brother and I missed the bus to school because we were playing that game, and then we had to walk/run a couple miles to school along a busy street in Las Vegas (I was in 1st grade, my brother was in 3rd). Good times.

I never could stand the firts TMNT
The first one rocks! It is a hard game, yes, but like all games, you just gotta find a knack to winning... there's a knack to everything - even games  I can play that game to the stage with the warehouses and helicopters w/ spotlights, keeping all turtles and also keeping them at full health. Though the levels in the warehouses are bloody difficult.

:p

Hey, I've played Deja-vu... that's a digital comic, right?

oops, hehe
I loved that game pretty good , never made it very far after getting the wall climbing attachment though. Too bad I lost an auction for that game during the last few seconds, a few days ago... i'm looking forward to playing it again.

Deja-vu was sort of a digital comic, a kind of text adventure with graphics. It did have those BAM! and WHAMMO! graphics sequences when you used an hard objects like your fist on things.

My wife and I were playing Monopoly for NES.
It's actually a pretty good version.
You guys ever give it a try?

Too bad you can't have more than 2 human players though :(

how has no one mentioned balloon fight? That game freaking rules.
I also love Powerpad games like Super Team Games and such... TMNT 1,2,and 3 were all great... 2 and 3 for a good beat em up multiplayer, 1 for a good long challenge. SMB3 is the top mario game of all time IMO.
I know I'm forgetting lots, I'll come back and add more later :)

Yeah, I remember you get an inventory and stuff (a trenchcoat, gun) and you try try and get back together with a chick that dumps you? It's been a long time. Yeah, I remember a bit better now - it's a point and click adventure, not a digital comic :aacool:

You prefer tengen tetris, slacker52? I prefer Nintendo Tetris... I guess it's because it's the one I grew up with..

I've played it on an emulator; it seems pretty good... I'm not giving it enough credit though, that's because I hate playing games on emulators.

have you played the tengen tetris CrazyGoon? i think its just plain better.
btw anyone other than me play Sweet Home?
Yep, I have. I'm gonna have to play it again sometime, to see if I still prefer Nin Tetris over Tengen Tetris.

Haven't played Sweet Home (or at least I don't remember it)
