Game Saves collect project

yes you can add these saves to the SDM, i can't say how good they were.

Thank you ! Users giving permission for sharing their saves are very rare (I got a collection of extra saves in my mailbox, but still waiting for their owners to write me OK so that I can share them publicly ...), so this is very appreciated !
I still need to guess the data structure of these saves (looks like raw format with block headers ?), but after this step, saves shall be available for import on Saturn from Save Data Manager :)

i downloaded saves from the PAR some years ago, it was either with the original tools coming with the isa card(my first guess) or later usb data link tools.

USB Data Link can only download the whole internal backup memory (= file size is always 64KB), so that was definitely downloaded with tools for ISA card.
I'm not 100% sure how this format is structured, but it looks like file contains all raw sectors containing the save, hence with sector headers and even allocation table. Special thanks to @Jameson for the great ss-save-parser and especially the save data structure image it contains, because it is always helpful when messing with obscure save data formats :)
The saves are now converted to a format recognized by Save Data Manager, but I didn't had time to test if they are coherent or not.

And if save data is larger than Saturn's internal memory, there's currently no other solution than physically dump memory chips on the cartridge ... I should do something (= compress cartridge memory, and cut it in several 32KB chunks) about this someday.

I recently got "Sega Saturn deHakken!! Tamagocchi Park" along with the special pink memory cart. The memory cart contains a save game for Tamagocchi Park that basically unlocks the ability to save the game. Its like 550 blocks so it wont fit on internal memory. Any chance of you dumping save game and finding a way to make it smaller, or even finding a way to remove the check for the save game? I can send the disc and or cart to you.

Its been said you can load up the game with the pink cart then hot swap the mem cart but I only have 1 cart and I dont wanna ruin it.
This is what I bought:

Great, thank you for your help ! I wanted a dump of this cartridge for a long time.
The only non-invasive way I know to dump saves not fitting into internal memory is to use a Indirect Dump feature with Gamer's Cartridge.
One requirement is however to be able to boot CD-R when backup memory is inserted, so that usage of an ODE is recommended.

Sorry for the necrobump.

Someone gave me a bunch of Dark Savior saves, but they are for the Euro version. Is there any way to convert the region of the saves to USA? I don't think there's anywhere online with a set of Dark Savior saves right before the last battle for every parallel, so I believe this would be important to convert.

I think the saves are single backup saves done with SSF (they are 1.95KB in size). I tried using the SS Backup RAM Parser, but I don't think it works with single saves like that, and even if it did, I don't see a way to convert the save to another region.

So, does anyone know how? @cafe-alpha sup :p

Parser does not work with the save content, it only copies the them from/to image file. And i'm afraid your question is very game-specific, and there is no tool to do this. But you can probably do it yourself with a bit (or a lot) of hacking and comparing saves from a different versions.

How do you know the save format is different anyway? Have you actually tried loading these saves in US game? Does it fail?

The person that sent them to me said he played the European version. But I figured it out already. The saves were corrupted, but now I have new ones. They are region free, so they do not need to be converted.

Here are the saves if anyone wants them:

Sorry for the delay ! Do you confirm it is OK to add Dark Savior saves to Pseudo Saturn Kai Save Data Manager ?

Anything new there? I glanced at it and it looked like a collection of everything that was already posted in the thread.

From what I could see, saves there are already available from SDM.

Hi guys. New here. So I just got a Satiator and wanted to contribute some save files. These are .bup files. First is the complete save file for the US version of Fighters Megamix. This includes the AM2 Tree. :D

The second save File is from Marvel Super Heroes Vs Street Fighter. I unlocked Mech Gouki, Mech Gouki Now, being able to select 2 of the same characters, and some of the extra option features.

Enjoy guys !! Keep up the great work. :)

Thank you for your contribution !! Your saves will be available for everyone on next release of Pseudo Saturn Kai.
I would like to list you on Save Data Manager credits page, so please let me know if you want a nickname other than "Tokugamer" to be listed.

well i gave new game saves thanks to latest pskai for fenrir

Until recently there weren't many solutions to dump saves from cartridge, so it's good that it's now possible to do that and even to have the choice of the hardware to do it :)

Thank you for the contribution ! Is it possible to include it into Pseudo Saturn Kai Save Data Manager ? Also, please inform me which nickname is suitable for displaying in credits page there.

Feel free to include it. I'm just happy to finally make this available for everyone. As for a nickname, feel free to use Raycommend (If I understand your request correctly.)

Here's Mega Man X4 - (X Ultimate Armor + Black Zero) (Last stage)
