Arcanum...for the 4th time...

Playing Half-Life 2 and Vampire Masquerade Bloodlines, and MGS3 So far I think HL2 is an awesome game all around, its nice so far, I'm still in the early stages, but so far Its seems like a good deal of action, haven't hit a detail storyline part yet, then again HL origiinally had some moments...

Never seen it, but I saw the trailer and I have to say this is the first cool thing I've ever seen come from Canada...scary. lol Who knows, maybe I can score the dvd soon.

I ended up paying up for a DC at gamestop finally. But I am going to open up my old DC and give it a look around, see if it is something obvious that broke, I hope so. Would be nice to have 2 working DCs instead of one.

I bought a av cable recently at Gamestop, and sadly it didn't work at all :damn: I still have no sound coming out at all. Completely a sad waste of a Dreamcast. I guess i'll just have to cough up the money and buy one from Gamestop...maybe tear open this one and see if I can fix it somehow...

Kodaks are good if you can find them, Kodak quit making them I believe. But personally I would go Tyen Yuden for the best. They are sorta pricy, but worth it and easy to buy. Fuji CD-Rs are actually Tyen Yuden's, so you can get them cheaply and easily over Kodaks anytime. They offer good speeds...

I haven't taken the system apart yet to do a check on internal damage...but in all honesty, I kinda doubt it was damaged inside that easily. The drop didn't even scuff the plastic. Thats how tiny that drop was. It wasn't even a full blown 1 foot drop as it sorta slid down and landed on the cable...

I'm so pissed off...mainly at myself. I think I ruined my DC system, I accidently dropped it, roughly 1 foot off my desk, and now I can't get any audio from the system. It runs and plays games perfectly. I dropped the system along the left sift of the unit...the side with the input connections...

Honestly, I whole heartedly reccommend Lite-On burners. Writing quality is great, and they burn very fast and accurrate in every way as most other high quality burners out there. I know I sound like a damn ad, but I really don't see any downsides to getting a Lite-On drive compared to Plextor or...

I know what you mean exactly. I don't think there will be any real way within software, I guess the best thing to do is when you install your cards, make sure they are away from the video card as much as possible and using different IRQs, and see if whatever apps you plan on using allow for you...
