Both the orange and grey were used in the US. I've only seen the orange one with any UK stuff, so I'm not sure of the grey one had a worldwide release or not.

Also you have to make sure that the cart you are loading the ROM into has the correct mappers. This happened a while back with the "prototype" of Earthbound (Mother 1) for the NES. It turned out to be a fake.. someone just loaded the ROM onto the cart.

No, there were no changes made. The only game to have changes made in the re-release was Punch Out!! (with the obvious removal of Mike Tyson). The only changes were in the packaging.

Well I think that in the information for the URA Zelda on Gamecube in America it states that URA Zelda was released only in Japan... which is misinformation because it was never released anywhere.

The expansion pak is required for Majora's Mask, as well as DK64. I think these were the only "required" games. Several other games just used it for resolution and texture enhancements. Perfect Dark required it for several modes of play.

I agree. Best RPG ever, still to this day. The time travel concepts were awesome, and the gameplay ahead of it's time. Incredible music and graphics. You just can't say enough about this one. Square in the good old days. :)

Hello all! Found this site while browsing online. Looks cool, and I've loved Nintendo since the early days of the NES, so it seems like a good match. First and foremost, I love the Zelda series, but I guess also about everything that Nintendo puts out is good. :)

So true. I've been playing the older ones in anticipation. I'm currently on Majora's Mask (which is the only one that I had never previously played). All great games.. probably the best series ever.

...or you could. Last time I checked (I want a pair) they were out of stock.

Try Resident Evil. It's a great remake of the first, and it's only $15 at Best Buy right now. Otherwise, yeah... check out the Player's Choice series. There are a couple stinkers in there, but most (Zelda, Mario, Animal Crossing, Mario Golf, etc, etc) are excellent.
