I'm not quite sure why, but I actually prefer the Saturn version over the DC one. To be honest, they look identical IMO. Still a great game, but it can only be enjoyed with a light gun. Playing with a controller really isn't exciting at all.

To my knowledge, the only Saturn peripherals you can use on the DC are stock digital controllers, Sega's steering wheel, and the Saturn twin sticks which can only be used for VO:OT.

Acutally, this is not true. Believe it or not, the DC version is still missing animation frames. Yes, it's true. If you look at Vega and T. Hawk, their backwards walking animation is missing in the DC version, but they're present in the Saturn version, just as they should be. The graphics...

I agree. I've never seen any type of Saturn cartridge have any territorial lockout. To the best of my knowledge the cartridge port is universal on all Saturns.
