Two Players in Virtua Racing Deluxe

no it's not broken, as i said, all MD 2player games run fine. and i only have 3 32X games, VR and WWF RAW don't work w/ 2players, but in Space Harrier I can input a cheat w/ the 2nd gamepad... very strange...

i'm talking about the 32X game here... and how can a cart be so defect that it won't allow me to play w/ 2 players?

Two Players in Virtua Racing Deluxe

both controllers were plugged in BEFORE I switched the MD2 and 32X on... I did some tests w/ other games: -- WWF RAW 32X (EUR) - the same, only player 1 -- Space Harrier 32X (US) - works fine! (the cheat codes on pad2) -- all MD games through the 32X - work fine! I think I'm going crazy...

Two Players in Virtua Racing Deluxe

of course i have a controller plugged in the 2nd port, i tried 4 different pads (incl one 6button pad), swapped them with the first port -- first player works fine, but not the 2nd :(

Two Players in Virtua Racing Deluxe

@Gallstaff: the game does not have a backup memory AFAIK, so it wouldn't make sense to beat them every time after I switched off the console... @SegaSaturnDDR: hm i've never heard of a system link for a 32X? even my MD2 doesn't have a link port anymore, it would make sense though...

Two Players in Virtua Racing Deluxe

how can I play Virtua Racing Deluxe (32X/EUR on MD2/EUR) w/ 2 players? I can't select "2players VS" in the main menu (it's grayed out) and in the options, controller config, on the player 2 pad is written "can't use". I even tried different controllers, 3/6-Buttons, no luck... any suggestions?

i'm stuck in Lunacy (Gekkamugentan Torico)

how do i get through the room with the music boxes in the city of moons where you can use the wind-up key? there is only one full walkthrough for this game, but it doesn't really help here: "R,F,save game, use the wind up key on one of the boxes and press back. if nothing happens, reset the...

    Another juicy problem for yall

ok, just for cleaning up now: you're completely right, but i think you still didn't get my point... when i rip a game (or a cue/bin release) i usually open (convert) it w/ wavelab, edit it, save it as plain wave file. after that i ENCODE IT BACK to mp3 with lame encoder to get a good...

Why do people rip using iso/mp3

i just hate that player because everyone else is using it ;) no, i just don't like it since the days where you had to pay for it, i don't like that tiny interface, i can't read the buttons, even with other skinning. why don't use those other great players like Sonique (the reason why winamp...

Why do people rip using iso/mp3

NOOOOOOOOOO! don't use that shit! how do you want to convert it back for burning? i know, there is a plugin for Winamp, but i definitely won't use that player ever!!! just try LAME, if commandline is to hard for you, look for a prog called RazorLAME, it's a nice gui for it.

Why do people rip using iso/mp3

you can play WMA on mac and linux and on a lot of portable players. it does a good job @ 160kbit but sometimes it just don't sound right to me... (but the same goes for MP3)

    Another juicy problem for yall

sure the file is converted, but the editing program does that by itself, so there is no need for an extra decoding program or to waste that extra time just for decoding...

    Another juicy problem for yall

to save system ressources while burning is a good point, but burning errors occur on my system only every 20th game, so that doesn't really affect me. when i remove the two seconds or fix clicks i just open all mp3s w/ Wavelab and save them as wave after editing, so no need for converting them...

    Another juicy problem for yall

why convert MP3->WAV anyway? I use CDRWin4.0A for burning and it even takes the ABR/VBR-MP3s from LAME encoder! another thing why audio can be out of sync is that some ripping programs add 2 seconds of silence at the begin of every track...

Why do people rip using iso/mp3

WMA does compress better, but I don't like the 'metallic' sound of it... compress your MP3s with LAME, it does better compression than the original MP3-codec
