Yes thats true partly, i dont think commodore wanted it to be expanded into a A1200 even though the public wanted it, they did start to do one that sat underneath the CD32 but never got released due to Commodore US going belly up, i'm currently doing a cd32 list (and will restart my ngcd one!)...

The graphics were stunning at the time and having a 8 player link up race with other people in the arcade and winning was great fun, no home version does the arcade version justice.

I'm just butting by saying I've used 5-6 different type's of cd'r, from cheap big store brands to high quality..i'm sure it's not the type of cdr you use thats the problem, it's either the sound ala my problem with MS2 or the way or program used to burn the image..or indeed the program used to...

As Fakk2 knows, every dump of Metal Slug 2 I've tried doesn't work, gives me the same error as yours, he very nicely sent me the original files off his version of MS2 and he said he made the sound better or something (you're have to reply Fakk!) but it works like a dream now..must have used 20...

Yeah i remember doing that to load to old Amiga 500 games via the disk drive that needed to boot that way...

Yeah i had the SX-1 when it first came out, 6 months after the CD32 i think (Mar 94) i added a 170meg!! HD and 8 Meg ram, keyboard, disk drive and mouse, and i also had the FMV add on which was great at the time, though no game companies utilised it like they did for the CDi...the SX32 i think...

Only a small number can, I 99% sure Turrican 1+2 can't...

Turrican 1,2,3 were released on the A500 and Turrican 1+2 were released on the CDTV, but sorry no Turrican was ever released on the CD32, i think you do need to say more on the CD32 intro thread!
