Not sure if you found a solution to your problem but I have a couple ribbon cables available for sale if you still need one. You said at one point your system gave you the message "Game Disc Unsuitable for this System" This typically means the system has identified the CD as a game but it is not...
Yes you are correct about the coils. The Sanyo Model was one of the last revisions to the Saturn Hardware so if you are looking for a US system they have a date of manufacture printed on the bottom and I would try to avoid anything from 1997 if you want to stay away from the Sanyo systems. I did...
Must agree, so far 7 looks to be Vista done right. Will say this though after using Vista with SP1 it isn't all that bad but it doesn't add anything new to the computing experience that makes it worth while. (Only reason I use it is so I can be familiar with it for support issues)
The version I have is very limited, I do not know how many versions ever got released / leaked but it defintitly would have been a cool game from what I can tell.
Not sure when I will get more in at this point. I have shifted more towards the mod install service. It is getting harder to find systems to Mod and then re-sell so that is what is taking so long to get more in.
I would also recommend keeping the one with the parallel port. You may never use it but why get rid of a cart that has an extra feature that is otherwise equal! I have also noticed that the newer carts being manufactured do not come with the port anymore so if you get rid of it you may have...
Just wanted to add an update to the first page and let folks know all of the information is still relevant.
It's been a while and I never thought I would still be doing this stuff but helping people get the stuff they need has really been a fun and enlightening experience!
Hi, Thanks for pointing this out (5.50 is a bit much for shipping). The prices in the post were out of date. I have since updated everything and recently lowered some prices and adjusted shipping costs accordingly. Let me know if you see any other problems / have any other questions. Thanks!
Yeah I'm not sure how much success you will have with the Sanyo board. I see the link to my site with directions and to be honest I have only ever known one person to get it to work. The odd are against a sanyo Sega Saturn I'm afraid.
Yeah it is a bit pricey but the price goes up and down with the cost of Saturns. To be honest Iv exhausted pretty much all local areas of Saturns and resort to Ebay now to get Saturns to mod. So the extra shipping fees that I now incur need to be made up somehow.
Thanks for the references Amon, its appreciated! As for my stock of Mods I am out and am struggling to find more. I import mine from a place in China which has been good to me but my last order has been sitting in queued status for about 2 weeks and I cannot get a hold of anyone that runs the...
Sounds like you need a new motherboard for your console. I have 3, but they are all USA NTSC boards. Not sure how well they would work for you plus the cost of shipping + the board might end up being more than finding another one.
Im not sure which pin it is either, or if it will always work on any Sanyo Saturn even if you had the right pin. If you figure it out please post something here so we can maybe get this figured out once and for all.
I believe the offiicial Saturn cart as well as a few 3rd party carts allow you to save directly with "most" games. The official Saturn cart may work with all but im not sure.
