Saturn emulator on Switch found inside Cotton Guardian Force Saturn Tribute and hacked to work with any game

Really? That's been dead for what, 17 years? City Connection would have had to contact Shinya Miyamoto for the source code (I assume the copyright would have reverted to him after Sega abandoned cyberdisc) and then do a ton of work to it, as iirc it had quite a lot of issues. Someone in that...

    Doom 32X: Resurrection

Wow, looks fantastic for the 32x. I always wondered, when you have both the mega cd and 32x plugged in, can a 32x game theoretically take advantage of the mega cd hardware? All the 32x CD games were FMV releases, so I was never sure if you could have both the 32x hardware and the Mega CD's...

Sega Ages: I Love Mickey Mouse/I Love Donald Duck Translation Discussion

I actually finally managed to track down a reasonably priced copy of this online a few days ago, so should be able to try this in a couple of weeks. What's the preferred way of dumping Saturn games these days (program & format)? Can't use redump's command line thing as I don't have one of...

    Translating Dracula X / SOTN Beta V1.02

Haven't had a chance to try the patch, but given other people have completed without issue on patch v1.021, and that Yaba Sanshiro is the buggiest of the three popular Saturn emulators, I'd say try another more accurate emulator - Mednafen 1.26.1 or SSF PreviewVer R18

    Translating Grandia

But from the Deepl translation, doesn't it suggest it's a grammar error in the localisation and should be something like: "When you have reached Alent from the Rainbow Spring, then..." or at least "When you have reached Alent from the Rainbow Spring. Then..." although the latter doesn't flow as...

    SSF

Did Shima actually say he's open sourcing SSF, or is this just a more stable download source for binaries because the file storage sites he uses are dodgy?

Lunar SSS & SSSC MPEG Releases

Ah, cheers. I'd actually be more interested in one without the pop culture refs. Like in that first example in the link, it wasn't a case of replacing a Japanese pop culture ref with an American one (which would be fine), it changed proper internal game dialogue to random pop culture stuff...

Lunar SSS & SSSC MPEG Releases

I looked in on lunarthreads and noticed that Alunissage talked about doing some changes to the translation to fix up inconsistencies between version and other things. I was wondering whether they were changing any of the pop culture references (the stuff like this)?

Lunar SSS & SSSC MPEG Releases

DICUI doesn't seem to work for me. I'm still waiting for my Lunar disc, but I thought I'd try to rip another in the meantime to get used to it. Get the below errors: Then if I enter an offset (which I'm not even sure is right, tried to work it out through isobuster like a guide I found...

    I'm back!

given your sites name, I don't suppose you still have any of the super old SSF versions per: https://segaxtreme.net/threads/anyone-got-any-of-the-really-old-versions-of-ssf-circa-1999-2001-missing-some.24499/#post-177104

    Translating Dracula X / SOTN Beta V1.02

This is great K0D! Any plans to have the half-transparency throughout the game, or are there issues with it?

Anyone got any of the REALLY old versions of SSF (circa 1999-2001)? Missing some.

Sorry, I should have been clearer, I meant the Saturn emulator SSF written by Shima. I'm trying to gather every version he released, but unfortunately a lot of the early ones due to the reasons I stated above (Most emu-scene sites seem to wipe out old versions when they get new ones + most...

Anyone got any of the REALLY old versions of SSF (circa 1999-2001)? Missing some.

This is what I have for the early stuff (002-006): Would be great if anyone else has them. Most emu-scene sites seem to wipe out old versions when they get new ones, and most didn't even notice SSF existed until 2001. I know for sure SSF_002b exists because I've seen it on one of Shima's...

    Translating Grandia

Great progress. :) Anyone have an SSF/Mednafen save with everything in the second map screen available they could upload (so basically all locations in the map screen that includes feena's house, before you get cut off by climbing the wall)? Would like to have a look around.
