    A question about Nintendo's 8cm medium DVDs...

I just recently bought a Gamecube and picked up Resident Evil Zero and Metroid Prime!! All I can say is AWESOME!!! My only worry though is with Metroid Prime since it is a used copy from EB and has some pressure marks on the CD. The game has worked smoothly so far without a hitch,-(I just picked...

Microsoft selects IBM processor for next Xbox

It is funny how the DirectX logo is VERY similar to the Xbox one to begin with. Maybe there are plans for this on the next machine. In my eyes, I think OpenGL is smoother and more engrossing than DirectX.

    Sega Profits Soar

It is great to hear that Sega is doing so well in the arcades! Hopefully, they will ressurect themselves into the home console market once again and call the project "Dream Rennaissance!" :D

    I've found a second sun!

I've found a second sun! It is a possibility that the physical sensor on the motherboard that monitors temperature might be fried. In that case, I would look at maybe another avenue to check the temperature of the ambient air inside the case with another device of some kind and see if it...

    Golden Axe 3 for 32x?

The auction holder is from Lexington, Kentucky. That explains where the stupidity originated from! I used to live in that backwards imbred state and all I can say is that the stupidity there is contagious; I had to move out of that place!!! :slap

Border Down, the last shootemup on Dreamcast?

The only way I got 3/3 credits (as opposed to 1/1 credits) is by constantly playing the game over and over again after dying. I did notice though, that I achieved the "NORM" score on level one on the green border and also that I placed 2nd in the roster after playing through for 5 times. It...

Border Down, the last shootemup on Dreamcast?

After playing countless times on Border Down, I finally acquired 3 whole credits!! LOL! I can get to the 4th stage boss and then I get ripped. The bottom line is definitely PRACTICE, PRACTICE, PRACTICE!!

Any mech games on the DC?

Gundam is a good game and has great action. Another game I can think of is Macross M3, but I heard that it was not all that great. Search some import retailers, maybe they have some for sale.

Border Down, the last shootemup on Dreamcast?

My copy of Border Down from NCSX finally arrived yesterday! It is a great testament to side-scrolling shooting design and madness and the setup is different from any other game I have played. I like the idea of being able to choose from 3 seperate paths, or "borders" as they are called, at the...

    More Macross Screenshots!

Awesome!! It is about time a new Macross game came out on the PS2. I have VFX and VFX2 for the PS1 and they were not really much to look at nor did they capture the theme and ambience of Macross. Hopefully, this game will renew my faith in a successful conversion! :D

    Jap Imports

To add to this list is another shooter based on the Naomi engine and will be out for the Dreamcast on September 25th of this year. The game is called "Border Down" and is developed by G-Rev. It looks like a great combination of Metal Black, Darius Gaiden, and Blazing Star, but with 3-D Naomi...

    Ikaruga

I could not agree more with Md310n. This is the essence of what shooters are all about. Some appeal to the wide audience while others are more focused and tweaked for the "shooter freaks" like myself. The same rule applies to RPGs. Like FF7 was a mainstream RPG and everyone had it down to the...

    Shadowrun

Shadowrun on Genesis is the best conversion done by Fasa. It is also the main reason why I had a Genesis in the first place along with other reasons. This game is incredibly challenging and the decking levels are excellent and run on equal parameters of the rpg counterpart which I love...
