Adding fiber optics to a Saturn case- any tips?

As the title says... I have roughly 20 feet of thin fiber optic light cable left oevr from a model kit which came with an optional electronic light setup, but was far FAR too difficult to install. I want to try adding some of this to my Saturn case, preferably without drilling holes(the...

    Burning .mdf/.mds

I use Alcohol 120% to burn those types of files simply because Nero can't read them. They burn fine. Though I use a modded system, not an emulator.

The long road to modding a Saturn

The AA battery box is $1.69 at Radio Shack and this is an easy mod. The cost downside is that Energizer long-life lithium AA batteries are about $10 a pack. There are apparently 2-packs of the batteries but stores don't stock them. However, given the 200 MAh of a 2032 and 2600 MAh of the AAs...

The long road to modding a Saturn

Modchip aside, I decided to include a few extras in my Saturn. First was a bigger battery box to replace the tiny CR2032. My initial build was a box which held 2 C batteries. You can also see the Action replay 4-in-1 I painted black. However, after reading up that alkaline batteries...

Sega-licensed "Retro Gen" might have you hunting for cartridges

They're rebranded AtGames junk consoles and they cost a fortune. The fact sega slapped their name on these is yet a further sign the company doesn't care if their name is on total junk.

free speech is a bad thing, apparently

My experience at another gaming forum led me to the belief that "freedom of speech" is universally hated. If you DARE say, do or write ANYTHING the majority doesn't agree with, you will be called out for it. And you ARE NOT allowed to do as you please in your spare time, because if they find out...

    best Gamecube modchip option

The straw that broke this back was buying a copy of Metroid Prime 2 that was too scratched, pitted and damaged to be repaired. Bought from Game Crazy during their "we're just like Gamestop now and the market can't support us" sale, so no return. Money wasted. I also bought a new Windows 7 PC...

Nintendo DS, shooters, GBA & TV connection…

Nintendo DS, shooters, GBA & TV connection… If you really want to play GBA games on a TV, you'll need a Gamecube and Gameboy Player attachment. It'd be much more reliable than some 3rd party DS add-on that lets it do something it's not really made to do. And probably cost about as much.

help with external RAM battery pack

This mod is finished. The prepared batteyr pack with jumper wire The box attached to the console I'm unwilling to spend a fortune on an external memory cartridge and these will last much longer than a CR2032 battery. Oh, and there's a modchip installe dinside so I don't need to buy...

help with external RAM battery pack

I'm not using any RAM. I'm replacing the CR2032 battery the Saturn uses with a larger capacity alternative.

help with external RAM battery pack

The battery backup RAM which usually takes a CR2032 battery. I've already been informed that 4 C batteries might kill the RAM with too much voltage, so it may be wise to alter the holder to tak eonly 2 C batteries.

help with external RAM battery pack

I have this left over from a model kit, in which I excluded the electronic lights. It's a battery holder which takes 4 C batteries with a black plastic box to contain it. Would 4 C batteries be too much power or am I safe with this? And what could I expect the life of the RAM to be with...
