Can't Download Invision Board

I wanted to fool around with Invision board on my site, but I seem to be having problems.

I tried creating an account on this page

https://www.invisionpower.com/customer/index.php

but the new customer link doens't seem to work.

So because of this I can't download it.

Can anybody help me out?

New Customer link? IPB is no longer free in any way shape or form, did you pay for it? Otherwise the only links are for forgotten passwords and new client (new customer) help forum.

oh -- I thought they had a free version.

Any recommendations on a free one that has similar functionality?

Maybe it's because I've been around here so long, but Invision has my favorite features and layout

phpbb isn't bad and of the free ones I can think of it's probably the most similar to Invision.

There is proboards, which is free and the forums have varying degrees of success. I have not run a forum but as a user they are fine.
