Oh well.. I'm sure it won't hurt their numbers much more than the regular piracy that will occur after the game is released. It may even boost sales, who knows.

I liked Halo but not enougth to rush out and buy the sequel on release day like most Xbox owners.

I'm happy with Outrun 2 at the moment which has criminally undersold here in the UK. I hope sales in foriegn markets do it more justice.

i have halo 2 on reserve, but i still dont see why this is such big news. Most games get "released" by the pirates way before they are for sale in stores, and its obviously not going to hurt the sales. Its still got some of the highest presale numbers in history. I do see the problem with the spoilers, but if you just dont visit halo sites, you shouldnt run in to any. i think this whole thing has gotten blown way out of proportion, and i suspect that an NTSC version will be "released" by pirates fairly soon. again, shouldnt pose a problem.
