I think everyone agrees that Sonic ain't what he used to be. It's probably time they went back to their old ways.

Just came across this srticle on 1up.com on how to save Sonic from his almost certain demise;

Some good ideas in there. I certainly agreee with the point of taking their time to release each game so as to place more emphasis on quality.
