Swap Mod driving me CRAZY!!

Hello...I Cannot for the life of me find out where to tape to allow the disc drive to think it is always closed...I've read the FAQs and the guides...They don't help...They just tell me to tape some post...


I think I need a picture...It's seriously killing me and I'm searching the system high and low for a button...To no avail!


If someone could possible post a picture of where I'm supposed to tape, that would solve all of my problems.

With the system taken apart look at the underside of the top lid. With the lid open, close the door and follow the curved plastic peice that has teeth like a gear and see where it rests at when the door is closed. now match up where it rests to the point where it would be at if the system was in one peice. Thats where you need to tape. It is a vertical metal tower with a flimsy button on the front side. With the system on, if you push it the laser should go crazy.


This is a horrible description, but I have a headache and that's the best I could do right now. Hoe that it helps!
