Caught in the middle of two larger warring nations, it's up to the youth of Gallia to defend its borders from these encroaching powers. The story that Sega is telling with Valkyrie: Gallian Chronicles stars two unassuming youths thrust in the middle of something much bigger than themselves. What makes this game particularly unique is the artistic method in which the story is told. Valkyrie was developed with a new graphics engine named Canvas, which allows the artists to capture the look and feel of a hand-drawn and watercolor-painted storyboard.
