Boiling Point : Road to Hell

I'm intrigued by this new game called Boiling Boint. I remember reading about it when it was called Xenus (good name change?). The open-endedness of it interests, but there is no demo for it yet. Has anyone tried/played this game? Is it worth getting after installing that huge 72 meg patch? Thanks!
