Here an update about how Nintendo feels about emulation of their products..

As you probably already know, Nintendo despises emulation, and now they have upped the difficulty in possessing such things legally.

Seems that the appearance of GBA emu's for the Zodiac has sparked it off.

At the moment, the patent is only for handheld emulators.

i can see why they put a stop to zodiac emulators, and such, or even emulators for any current systems. If they ever try to stop others (like NesterDC for example) ill get pretty pissed.

I wouldn't see nintendo wasting the money to go after emulation of systems they no longer profit from. However, they have always had a strong anti-emulation stance. Going after emulation of current systems is what I would expect from them.
