Super Mario 64 - Game of the day - 21 August 2002

The first time I saw this game, I was in complete awe at the visual splendor that is its huge (and brightly colored) world. It truly was the defining mark of the 3D platform gener for many years after its release back in '96. This is the title many people bought their N64's for back when the system came out, and its no mistery why.

Probably my favorite Mario game of all time. Can't wait to play it's successor Mario Sunshine in a few weeks. This games still is great to play even if you've got all 120 Stars.

There only one problem:
Why do you get 100 lives AFTER you completed the game? First of all you don't need that many lives to even complete it and you allready got everything. Nice to see Yoshi though.

After more than 6 years I still play this game once in a while. One of the few N64 games I actually finished.
