Thrift store find of the month

Half off sales at thrift stores on MLK day Monday. Played a little hookey from work to take a lookey.

At first, I was like, oh DBZ videos. Hmm japanese sailor moon. Even though I have the fansub, I picked it up to take a look, and suddenly realized, hey, this isn't a video...

Sailor Moon SuperS, Super Famicom, minty complete in box. 80 cents, before the half-off.

And those DBZ videos? DBZ 46, DBZ 22, and DBZ 02 Super Famicom, complete. Also 80 cents, before sale.

Unfortunately the DBZ games appear to be worthless on e-bay.

But I did find a MINI SNES complete system, in need of a little cleaning, for 25$ before half off. Looks like it goes for 40-60$ on e-bay, so 12$ wasn't too bad, assuming it works.

I love hitting the thrift stores for this kind of stuff, haven't had any great finds yet though.

Recently I got some genesis games from one at least:

Road Rash

Boogerman

Lion King

Snes:

FF Mystic Quest

2 random sports games

Spiderman: Maximum Carnage

Some others that I can't think of off the top of my head. $1 each I believe it was.

I just got my thrift store find for the month.

At a salvation army store I picked up a model 2 SNES for $3 a couple days ago, it works perfectly!

I recently got a hold of Jet Set Radio Future/Sega GT for a buck at gamestop. It's just too bad JSRF runs kinda sketchy on the 360.

No real finds for me lately. Saw a copy of "Mixed up mothergoose" PC-DOS, complete in box etc at the local salvation army -- Thought about picking it up just because its an old Sierra AGI game. Haven't decided though, I suppose I could set it up in dosbox for my kid.
