What was your favorite BBS game back in the day?

    Lords was the best. popular up here in canada quite a bit.

    I kinda liked BBS Bowl. But yes, LORD was the man. Didn't really play anything else. Couldn't get into BRE or SRE etc. I tried my hand at making a game with some friends of mine. I made some pretty wicked ASCII art if I do say so myself. Didn't make it to the end though. I bet I still have some of my old files on a disk somewhere... hmm...

    BBS? Is that kinda like the BBS Number thing? (I don't know what that is either, I just remember seeing that term in my Doom Hacker's Guide)

    BBS = Buliten Board System

    early days when most people were not on the internet individuals had there own computer set up so that people in that area could login and play games and download stuff. Really neat, all text based.

    I never played anything other than Trade Wars, but I never played enough to really get anywhere. Ah the joys of ANSI-graphics over 2400bps..
