well i got the Racketboy Mod chip and......it works.you have to boot to the cd rom screen,it will not recognize the disc as a saturn disc at first.open the lid and then close it and it will recognize it as a saturn disc.both backups and original saturn discs.i did the AB method when i installed...

well,i was looking for answers and relating to other members what i have found out.if the racketboy ship does not work i will have to look for a 32 pin saturn.at least i know how to id one now and what to look for.

you have a 64 pin saturn.these dont have a very high success rate with mod chips.they are cranky beasts.there is instructions here http://www.angelfire.com/pa/Raluminat/saturnmod.html and here if you have the ones from console goods. http://www.consolegoods.co.uk/

what serial number is your saturn? i have a 64 pin myself and i am getting ready to try a racketboy mod in it.i hope it works.

is that a 32 pin or 64 pin saturn? the IC will be square shaped on the cd drive board or rectangular shaped.if it is square shaped it should be a 64 pin.if it is rectangular shaped it should be 32 pin.the two red spheres on the cd player menu usually indicate a ribbon cable to the mod chip or...

anyone modding saturns these days? i have a model 2 64 pin i am trying to mod.i tried a modchip from rob webb but that one did not work.i am going to try one from Racketboy,are those any more compatible?
