    There was a link once...

Thought I would post this here because this is where I think I remember seeing a link to a Japanese site with a bunch of console modifications. Another member had posted this link a number of months ago, and I have lost this link. I would really appreciate it if anyone could dig this link up...

    Sega Saturn

I am having audio problems with a couple of Saturn backups, all are converted from MP3 to wave. I have no problems burning the image, no errors reported from the burning application. But when loaded on the Saturn multiple audio tracks are messed up. It sounds like screaching comming through the...

    Action Replay

Have not tried that, what is it? I'm looking to get an ARP and thought screenshots would be cool. I recently tweaked my Xbox out with a debug BIOS and started using XIG to capture in-game screenshots, I'm hooked on screenshots now!

    Action Replay

Just wondering if you can use the Action Replay to capture "screenshots" from the Saturn? Video frame buffer dumping? Thanks.

    The Best Saturn Games

I've been Cotton Boomerang'ing for a couple of weeks myself! Looks and plays amazingly on a RGB monitor, unreal is more like it. My arm is burning out on me, I can only manage a 296 hit combo! But I will keep playing untill my arm falls off, this game is just that fun!

    Best Way To Clean Controllers

Take your controllers apart and clean them with warm water. I use an old toothbrush to get into all the tough spots, no need for soap or solvents. Controllers work like new after a good cleaning! Sure beats pissing around with Q-Tips!

    Finally! Mod board success!

I have successfully modded my 64-pin IC white import Saturn! Using the blue PCB mod board with the signal A wire to the 8th pin on the CD-ROM IC. Quick and easy installation procedure, the hardest part was unfolding the ribbon cable and getting it to fit with the top half of the console on. I...

    Modboard v2

I've been trying all sorts of things to get the Saturn to boot these backups. I'm sure that the discs are burnt the right way, they play just fine on an emulator. I can't even get a backup to boot using the swap trick! I have also tried adjusting the potentiometer on the back of the laser...

    Modboard v2

I've got a 64-pin IC model 2 import Saturn, with the v2 modboard from here installed. With the chip installed I can play original software with no problems, backups on the other hand refuse to load. Seeing as the originals will load and the backups will not, this must mean the modboard is...

    Modchip modifications?

The oscillator on this mod board, does it serve the same function as the signal wire to the CD-ROM IC pin on the other mod board (the blue one)? Would the Atmel chip on this mod board be the GAL chip I've read about on other posts? Thanks.

    Modchip modifications?

Im just curious to know why you can modify the one modchip to be used on a 20 pin Saturn and not this one... Any insight would be appreciated. Thanks.

    Saturn Version

Im new to this board and all, but to the whole idea of console modding and whatnot im as oldschool as it gets. I asked the question because the two variations of Saturn mod chips I've seen all refer to the CD-ROM PCB IC pin count, seeing as the Saturn I own has neither a 32-pin or 64-pin IC my...
