yeah i modded it the same way as Mike G but mine STILL doesn't work which makes me think that I'ma retard with the soldering iron or something. I refuse to believe that the mod chip is messed up because the saturn will read the discs and play the audio tracks with the mod installed. frustrating...

I just tried it with my Sanyo-board Saturn (no IC chip and PC trap board between cd assembly and motherboard) and it didn't work. It works as a CD-player and nothing else. I also noticed like someone else did that it didn't even bother checking the security track on the disc. Does this for both...

is there a chance that lordcoxis or anyone else would trade me for one of the pass through mods? I have the two wire mod and its just fine, I just can't use if due to the lack of an IC chip in my saturn. any info would be great :-)

well, i've been using virtua fighter 2 to boot all of my games, including sonic jam. I havent had a game yet that won't boot because of vf 2:)
