Hi Folks! I have updated to this newest firmware[2021/07/02 20pins 211ec4aa] ...but the options menu no longer has the "refresh SD content" option. Any idea how to refresh the SD card now? I've also tried Fenrir loader Kai and can't find the refresh option there either.

When patching, I always use my original JP discs in my DVDROM drive and spit out a .CCD image for output. What exactly are you modifying in the header?

Ah heck - totally forgot about the fact that I can backup saves to SD card on the Fenrir [granted, I just updated the FW recently] Thank you so much for the updated patch @TrekkiesUnite118 :cool:

Out of all the games I added to my Fenrir - Grandia is the ONLY one I get the occasional Audio issue [and I ripped/patched my original discs] @TrekkiesUnite118 isn't kidding when he says it streams a crazy amount of ADX audio (granted that the issues I have are very slight...sometimes the Audio...

Would just like to say a HUGE thank you to @TrekkiesUnite118 and all others involved in bringing a fully translated version of Grandia to the Saturn. Been watching this project since the get-go and wish I could have been more involved. Sadly it soon went past my skill level and a full time job...

YAY! This just keeps getting better! Ordered my Fenrir yesterday and now I find out that both discs of the translation are playable...SWEET :-D

Glad someone has tested this with Fenrir, as I'm thinking of investing in one later this month (fed up of stupid twitchy Saturn lasers and burning coasters that almost work). Also my old Pioneer burner that worked great at 4x for burning Saturn discs has gone to the computer graveyard [goodbye...

First off, if you are burning at high speed (anything over 4x), the discs will never work correctly in the Saturn (if they have in the past, you've been lucky) and this will also put more stress on the ageing laser of your Saturn. You want to burn at 4x or slower (the slower the better - 1x if...

It's likely the speed of your burner (or the burner itself) - not the media. I have good Ritek dye media that I use and I burn at 4X on a Pioneer DVDRW. If you can get an older burner that supports 1X then that's even better.
