Any way to pad a DC program with blank space?

Not sure where to turn to for help on this. I'm working on the technical end of a translation for Segagaga, and I've kind of hit a wall with space limitations. I've been filling up the existing blank areas in the main program with translated text and adjusting the corresponding pointers as...

    Any homebrew/dev/hack resources for PS2?

Thanks, but that site doesn't seem to have anything of use for this. Related topics in their forums are locked with messages like "We do not hack commercial games!"

    Gunstar Heroes released on PS2

Well, I knew. Check the topic below this one. :P It's a pretty nice compilation for only three games. Here's the contents of the disc: GUNSTAR HEROES - Japanese Megadrive version - North American Genesis version - Prototype Megadrive version - Japanese Game Gear Version DYNAMITE HEADDY -...

    Any homebrew/dev/hack resources for PS2?

I'm wondering if there's a website for PS2-related stuff that's comparable to Segaxtreme, or if anyone can just direct me to a site with some general PS2 tools. All I'm looking for right now is something that'll allow me to convert .IMA picture files taken from a PS2 disc into a format viewable...

New Screens for Panzer Dragoon on PS2

The Ages 2500 series seems to have picked up a little ever since Sega took over from D3 and started doing them in-house. I have the PS2 version of Dragon Force. It plays *exactly* the same as the Saturn version, right down to specific little camera oddities during battle. The only differences...

Anything new in the last month or so? Just wondering, cause this thread just keeps on sliding down the page.

Working Designs is no more :(

Their localization work was hit or miss, but the packaging, man. The packaging. Modern publishers could learn a thing about so-called "limited editions" from WD. Plus, Vic gave the impression that he was really into what he was doing and how much he liked it. He had an ego, for sure, but he...

    Radiant Silvergun in English

Reviewing the topic again... So Knightsofdragon is taking care of the text already? Dang, I sorta wanted to get in on this. :D I've got free time to kill. Oh well. Keep us posted, guys. EDIT: Another thing. Might have already been covered... Are you gonna mess with the files in the "FUROKU"...

    Radiant Silvergun in English

I just heard about this from the ikaruga.co.uk boards. Sounds freaking awesome. I used to dabble around in making a few English text patches for old Saturn and Playstation games, but I never completely finished anything. Might as well add my own little nitpicks while I'm at it, heh. I've only...

    Shadow the Hedgehog

Ahaha. Hahahaha. I wish it were true, but I'm sorry to say you've glossed over much of it. The CEO of Sammy, to my recollection, was downright obsessed with buying up enough Sega stock to have a controlling interest in the company or a position on the board of directors or something. He's...

    Shadow the Hedgehog

Personally, I think there's a solid game underneath the mechanics in that trailer. I'm all for a fast pace action game with firearms, but wtf is this? To me, the only way to salvage this concept is to remove any relation to the Sonic franchise whatsoever. Sega doesn't have a fucking clue what...

"Sega Saturn, Shiro!" and "Segagaga March"

I ran across translated lyrics to the Segata Sanshiro theme song and figured somebody here might appreciate it. I'm only vaguely familiar with Japanese, but I think its fairly accurate. Also, I found the original Japanese lyrics for the Segagaga March. Is anybody here able to make more sense out...

Segagaga. I MUST HAVE THIS GAME!

Anybody know where to get it? Preferably the box set, complete and all. How much is this game worth? I heard it had a rather limited release.

    Good SX News!

I second the idea of soundtrack torrents. I have a handful that I could provide myself, including SEGAROCK 1&2, SEGACON 2, and lots of Saturn game rips. Also, I spent a large portion of last weekend re-ripping all of my music to FLAC, and I'd like to obtain lossless versions of a lot of the...

    Guardian Heroes sprite ripping

I've actually been using that method with SSF up until now, but I'm more interested in actually extracting and editing the actual game data than taking manual sprite rips through an emulator. I'm just at a loss at how to interpret the files. A video capture won't produce ideal results, Borisz...

    Guardian Heroes sprite ripping

I figure I'd like to try at this again, but I really don't have a clue where to begin. Anybody have some general advice for sprite ripping? It'd be fine even if I knew the sort of thing to look for in hex data. I don't even care if I get the palettes right.
