I bought a modchip from "Classic Gaming Sega Style" almost exactly a year ago. I tried installing it, back then, in a 64-pin Model 1 but it wouldn't work no matter what. So I switched an old modchip from my Model 2 32-pin into my Model 1 64-pin and it worked. The newer modchip did however work...
