Those aren't rumors, it really does push that much at times. NAOMI IS basically the same as Dreamcast but with more memory. Heck they even had a GD-ROM upgrade for it to let it play games from GD-ROMS instead of carts. Other than the memory DC and NAOMI share the same video, audio and cpu chips. It's also why ports of NAOMI games can be done in very little time (like 2-3 weeks).
