Thanks for the link, I'll try that out. Shortening the cable seems like a good idea, I'll try that when I get time. As for using MS-DOS instead of Windows, I'd rather stick with windows. I use my Mac for coding, and I really don't want to try to set up networking in MS-DOS. :)
