I never payed much attention to the N-Gage but to me it just seemed like it was plagued by a clunky design and lackluster development. Software companies these days are *still* trying way too hard to push console-like 3D graphics on platforms that can't handle them well. I'm sure if id software...
You know... it'd probably be cheaper and easier to buy a 'broken' or even working Saturn from eBay and swap the power supplies. Anywhere that'll still repair Saturns will charge you through the roof.
As far as the (possibly) broken caps though, google the part numbers on each one and you'll...
Seems like Sega's mostly lackluster game lineup is the main contributing factor here :/ Still.. $42.3 mil for a company of that size isn't the end of the world. Apple reported ~$700 mil loss one quarter in 1997, and they were able to turn themselves around.

Thanks!
It's actually pretty flimsy, but I just need to do another round of gluing the joints together. And it'll be sweet once I get the decals on there.
Wow, that looks great. It looks like you can code in an easy high level language or go to assembly for the most speed. And the chip runs at 80mhz, so this is no weak system.
It's all just that foam-cardboard project board you get at office stores. The screen is just an LCD monitor hooked up to my computer.
I put in an old keyboard inside and glued the buttons made out of blank plastic bottle caps on top. I cut holes for them and it actually plays pretty well.
I'll...
