Do old/retro games hold up well over time? Simply put, it depends on if the old/retro game is fun to play and has any good qualities that make you want to come back to it (like unique/fun gameplay, challenges your skilll, addictiveness, multi-player, good story). And how many "modern" games...

The only way to know for sure if the adapter is messing with the bankswitching is to play the game on a Japanese system. I doubt your game is defective, but it is possible. Maybe the shop you bought the game from can test it for you on a Japanese system? I have the American version of this...

Yeah, and the Megadrive version sold on ebay last month for about $282 USD complete. Even the Gameboy version of this game gets up there sometimes.

NES Snow Bros. complete with box, sleeve, and instructions. Cart is in excellent condition. Box and manual are in good condition. $65 shipped in the USA or best offer. :) Recently, a copy on ebay sold for $34 and it's just the cart only, so I'd say this is a decent price for a hard to find...

No one mentioned Super Dodge Ball. That's a fun game. Mighty Final Fight, Gun-Nac, Battletoads and Battletoads Double Dragon are also some of my favorites. B)

The Gameboy version (not Gameboy Color) was also a fun game and had better control than the NES version. Get it if you can.

Someone on ebay says that the SEGA CD add-on makes your Sega Megadrive games run faster and smoother as the Sega CD adds a faster co-processor to your Megadrive and more RAM is available for smoother game performance. Is that true?

Or you can try converting your Japanese games to play on your American system using the ConvSCD110 program. I've converted Ninja Warriors, Anet Futatabi, Night Striker, Urusei Yatsura - My Dear Friends, Cyborg 009, Devastator, and Shadow Run to play on my SEGA CDX.

How about Keio Flying Squadron? That was a fun shooter for the SEGA CD.

Of course, it is useful that you spend time to scan more manuals if they are of better quality than that other site. Let us know which games you have manuals for and will be scanning in the future, so members don't scan the same game.
