Burning Rangers was intended to have a multiplayer co-op mode - the earliest previews of the game feature it, and a non-functional version of it can be enabled in the 1997-12-01 prototype. However, it was removed from the final release, which supported one player only.
This patch restores co-op mode. Player 1 can choose between Shou and Tillis as usual. Player 2's character will change in each mission:
The camera follows Player 1 as usual, but Player 2 can teleport to Player 1's position by pressing A. Player 2 can't collect crystals or rescue victims, but can put out fires and attack enemies.
Apply the appropriate patch with Delta Patcher.
