@bbayles posts on Ejihon Detective Agency made me curious to peek at the game files for the Game-Ware Vol. 1-5, and I managed to make self-bootable versions of most of the included mini-games.

This is a patch for Game-Ware Vol. 5 Disc A that makes it boot straight into a minigame for 1 or 2 players called Pipit Boy 5 where you fish people out of a river and stuff.

This patch simply replaces 0STARTUP.PRG with PPT5.BIN. This allows you to skip past the Game-Ware ads and begin playing Pipit Boy 5 immediately.

Apply the patch with Sega Saturn Patcher:
