@bbayles posts on Ejihon Detective Agency made me curious to peek at the game files for the Game-Ware Vol. 1-5, and I managed to make self-bootable versions of most of the included mini-games.
This is a patch for Game-Ware Vol. 5 Disc A that makes it boot straight into a minigame we'll call PUZLE (can't read title screen but menus are in english). (Can anyone tell me what the Japanese title screen says?)
This patch simply replaces 0STARTUP.PRG with PUZLE.BIN. This allows you to skip past the Game-Ware ads and begin playing PUZLE immediately.
Apply the patch with Sega Saturn Patcher:
