Sonic R: The R&R Mod 2026-01-26.01

This is a patch for the NTSC-U version of Sonic R for Saturn. Here's what it changes:

• You have unlimited time to explore the five courses. Retire from the Pause menu when you’re finished.
• Each character's controls have been adjusted to make exploration easier – everyone has a lower top speed, handles better, and is less prone to skidding uncontrollably.
• If you find all five of a course’s Sonic tokens before retiring, you’ll unlock a special character. And if you find a Chaos Emerald before retiring, you’ll keep it.

Apply the patch with Delta Patcher.

• Original file: Sonic R (USA, Brazil) (Track 01).bin.
• XDelta patch: sonic-r-and-r.xdelta.

This will overwrite your original file, so be sure to make a copy.

There's one known issue: the auto demos that play when you let the title screen time out don't work properly.
