Assets and tools for making Return to Zork

-In the 'Audio asset English' folder, I’ve included all the English source audio files, whether for videos or audio clips — everything is there, all in WAV format."




-In the 'Injection Tools Asset Only Sound CPK' folder, you'll find the tools used to generate CPK files that contain only audio. The process has two steps: first, run 'wav input.bat'; second, run 'raw to out.cpk





-The "Moding Text" folder contains the modified French text files compatible with the Saturn version. You'll need to translate them into English while preserving the number of lines, spacing, and formatting for proper alignment.

Once the translation is done, you can use creation_mod.py to convert the files into a Saturn-compatible format (in the REBUILT folder).




-In the "Replace TEXT PRJ" folder, place your modified text files with the .TXT extension. Then simply run replace_all.bat — your text files will be injected into the RTZ.PRJ archive.



-In the "Sprite Mod Option" folder, I found the original menu design to be poorly done, so I created PSD files with all the necessary elements to generate BMPs. These BMPs need to be converted to 256 colors and then saved as raw files compatible with the Saturn. Everything you need is included.

For videos with audio, use SEGA SATURN FILM TOOLS to extract all the original WAV files. Then, recreate them using a tool like GoldWave, making sure the new files match the original length exactly — down to the millisecond. Replace the original audio with the new versions.
