Bodycount released in the US?

I thought Bodycount was only released on the PAL MegaDrive. But I found an entry in RottenTomatoes that shows a US Genesis box and claims a USA release:

There's a lot of SNES games with mockup box art all over the place. Half.com lists games like Ramna 1/2 with a us cover...
