Anyone know how? I have Premier Pro and I dun know how to do it. I have a .mov file and it wont let me import it sooooo what do I do? I am very confused :-\.
this guy I know has sum .mov files on his car club website and I guess lots of ppl are havin probs. lookin at em. So I was asked to change it to a mpeg file...
I have QuickTime installed, but I hardly to never use it. Instead, I have .mov files associated with Media Player Classic (MPC) and I use it to play instead of QuickTime. It's so much smoother.
i can play it just fine, runs great. Lots of ppl on the website are having probs and I he wants me to make another format of the same video. That's what I am looking to do. Any help there?
If you have the Pro version of QuickTime, you can export the .mov file to an uncompressed AVI file and then compress that to MPG using Adobe Premiere or TMPGEnc. Alternatively, if your .mov file (e.g., movie trailers) is locked, you can use Bink and Smacker's The RAD Video Tools to convert to a compressed or uncompressed AVI file.
hmm master, when I try to convert the video file, it'll to the video, but not the audio. It gives me an audio input error...it says: "error opening the audio input file." Do you know how to fix this?
When I compressing or converting some movies, I don't get any sound or I get an "error opening audio file" message - what's up?
Answer:
Make sure you have the latest version of QuickTime from www.apple.com installed. The RAD Video Tools uses QuickTime to import compressed sound formats.
If that doesn't help, then you may be trying to convert a protected movie. QuickTime allows the movie creators to mark a movie as playback only - no saving or exporting allowed. When this happens, Bink can still read the video, but the audio is locked into the QT file. This is just a QuickTime copy protection feature - there is no way around it.
it dont.....I have latest version and everything. The guy I guess is gunna get me the origional uncompressed vid this weekend to do. Damn QT. Anyone know a good encoder/format to encode with/in?
