IGN & GameSpy to Merge

I'm not a huge fan of either, but maybe they will become a little better together.

Anyway, IGN & Gamespy will soon be one.

Not sure I like this. I always thought GameSpot was a little easier to navigate. It's also easy to keep up with new stuff on their site. Eh... just a personal preference.

They're actually going to operate as 2 seperate identities, so nothing to worry about - for now at least.

I'm not a big fan of either so it doesn't effect me 🙂

It's Gamespy they're merging with 😉. To be honest, I try to avoid going on Gamespy since it always seems so slow (and it's pretty dire in general). There is some good stuff hosted on it though, like Shmups. And I guess they did come up with Warp Pipe for the Gamecube.

I had a look and it is a fan thing. I'd read somewhere it was Gamespy and didn't really question it since they announced they were trying to do the same thing with the GC.
