Just a quick hello!

Nothing interesting to this topic, I just wanted to say a quick hello to the board members(some of them may remember me).

I'd like to thank cww80 for his mail & for his interest to me (I hope he has changed his way of thinking about that company... 'Sony'

).

Hello Mal,hello ExCyber, hello destroyer of the worlds(Iceman) hello XAKEP, hello Fabrizo, hello MasterAkumaMatata, hello Azazel, hello Gallstaff, hello Gamefoo21[you finally beat me Gamefoo21

You're right mal!!!

Hi there Ice!

>cherok> Yup! I used to have the Medion one but my host deleted the file so I had to upload another.

TOP SECRET: DSL is finally here. From the 1st of February I'll have a brand new 256Kbps connection(Yeah I know that this is really funny for some of you guys but try to think my downloads[185+GB in 1 year] with a 56K).

Was there ever a time when your computer was not downloading something during that year?

To give you a rough idea:

185 GB = 185 x 2^30 bytes

= 198,642,237,440 bytes

= 1,589,137,899,520 bits

Assuming continuous downloading at 56,000 bits/second:

Time = (1,589,137,899,520 bits) / (56,000 bits/second)

≈ 28,377,462 seconds

≈ 472,958 minutes

≈ 7883 hours

≈ 328 days

Therefore, the time range that Silender's computer spent downloading with his 56k modem last year was:

328 days <= time spent downloading <= 365 days

Maximum Probability (time spent NOT downloading) ≈ (365-328)/36510.1%

BTW, hello Silender!

Geez, ask a simple RHETORICAL question...

Actually, the funny thing is I felt compelled to answer my own question the same way. I just wasn't as big an ubernerd I guess :

BTW, hello Silender!

I was not downloading only when power supply was cytted and[I cheated here] I had 128kb ISDN for 2 & ahalf months during summer. But my PC is mostly online.

Hello MasterAkumaMatata and thanks for doing tha math for me

i download anywhere from 1GB to 3GB a day

The time for me has just come to enter that kind of speeds. *Silender shows his muscles on the mirror "Taa Daaaaah"....... #SDOINK#... ...but he falls from his chair cause of his stupidity*
