First game sounds like Tengai Makyo : The Apocalypse IV. It's a cool and zany RPG, part of a rather big series otherwise known as 'Far East of Eden'. Probably rather hard to play without Japanese skills, though. If you want to check the series out, the SFC game Tengai Makyo Zero has a translation patch available, and also there is the fighting game 'Kabuki Klash' for the Neo-Geo (although it's an RPG series, they made a fighting game based on it).

Here's a page with info about the series (note: TMIV info on page 2)-

As for the 'Vol. 5' one, I'm guessing maybe a demo disc of some kind?

I checked out the pics... yep its tengai makyo! your good it, ill have to get that patch for it. The thing im concerned about though; it says Disc 1 on it. I hope im not missing part of the game. I wouldn't care if I missed part of the series, but missing part of a game in a series would really suck.

I figured out what that plug is. It lets you hook a midi keyboard up to the saturn for use during "BASIC" developement. It is supposed to have software with it. Maybe that what the blank cart is for, it has a parallel port on top like 4-1 carts have. Im kinda amped, I want to open up the saturn ASAP, i have this feeling that it has a little extra inside. Maybe already modded or something. I bet this guy stole this saturn, it should not have sold for so cheap.

Unfortunately, I think that a patch is only available for Tengai Makyo Zero on the Super Famicom, and not this game. You may be able to find a translation online, though.
