Literally hundreds of interesting online auctions are on at this moment for interesting, high quality vintage Sega games, systems, and accessories.
All manner of Sega hardware is being sold new in the box or in mint, hardly used condition. The people selling the systems range from video game/comic book stores clearing out old inventory to private collectors to people whose kids got 2 Genesis systems for Christmas one year and they stuck the extra in a closet somewhere.
The volume of new or nearly new quipment appearing now, 10-15 years after the fact, is at unprecedented levels. (For example, there are currently 6 NEW CDX systems for sale.)
This translates into a boon for the fan community: no longer will you have to play your favorite games on a mere emulator platform (with no disrespect intended to the Emu developers of course), but you can play the real thing, with the real manual, in the real living room
And, if you're lucky, it's on a new or next-to-new console that never saw the abuse of the local Blockbuster Video.
