Modboard worked, now it doesn't...

So I got my modboard today from Jandaman, installed it in my 32-pin saturn. Worked perfectly when I loaded up Radiant Silvergun. Now it just doesn't... It was reading audio but not booting games, now it just sits on 'determining format' on the cd player screen. What could have happened?

Check the solder bridge (014 and 019), it may have been a poor connection that soon failed. Those problems you have i believe are the symtoms of a missing bridge.

I'd also double check the connection of the modboard to the mainboard.

There's enough space there for the mod to be misaligned when it's inserted. It could be that it was just making proper contact at first, but something has caused it to move ever so slightly since.

on my mod saturn, every time the system rested for a couple of hours after playing (or lately, a couple of weeks), I have to smack the system to make the mod work again.. the ribbon cable easily loses contact and comes off.

try pushing the modboard left, the ribbon pushes the modboard to the opposite side (right)...

Check the metal shielding too, maybe the modboard is in contact with it causing a short circuit, insulating it is the only solution good luck!!
